I gave up on getting a vanity set or cabinets (I'll go to Hoods) and went to the flooring section to get a specific type of flooring that a family member recently purchased. The only staff member I found there ignored me when I asked for assistance getting the flooring and quickly walked away when I called after him, which seems to be a common theme.
After I picked out the vanity and cabinet set, I had a question about ordering. I went to the little help desk but they guy was on his cell phone and walked away when I approached. I waited by the help desk as he paced up and down the aisle talking quietly on his cell phone until I just gave up after about five minutes.
I lasted saw the another guy at the help desk but as I approached he picked up the phone to make a call and didn't even acknowledge me in any way. These were both the staff members that ignores me in the beginning.
Cashiers are all hot and friendly too. This makes it all worthwhile
Complete garbage! Purchased a Christmas present large enough I needed to rent a U-haul to pick up. Received an email telling me item was ready for pick up...it wasn't, they gave a refund after a while. However I paid for a uhaul for the day expecting Menards to be competent enough to try and stay in business. Good job guys, Christmas present is gonna be late this year.
I asked three different staff members for help four different times. The first time I was completely ignored by two staff members and they started walking away from me after I told them I had a question. I even said "Pardon me!" as they walked away. I just moved on.
I was told to go to Menards many times and just didn't want to go into such a big store. This place is great! You can get so many name brand products so much cheaper. Cleaning and laundry products,automotive, paint, lighting, phone items such as chargers and blue tooth items, etc. I was very pleased with the selection of items and how I was able to check out so quickly. I will definately be doing a lot more household shopping and Christmas shopping here!!
To begin, not a single staff member said hello or even do much as smiled or made eye contact. Even though that's off-putting, that isn't the reason I rated one star.
I had ever intention of buying everything I needed to renovate my recently destroyed bathroom. Flooring, wall time, vanity, cabinets, everything.
Building Materials staff is awesome. Great Service and knowledgeable about OZCO's products and building pergolas and arbors!
Side note, it was a Tuesday mid morning, so there were more staff than customers in the store.
Suggestion: Don't blow off and ignore a customer willing to spend a hefty amount of money. I will not be purchasing ANYTHING from this Menard's. I'd rather pay more somewhere where the staff will actually help me.
